Chapter 3, THE HIGH HEART
THE DOUBLE HEXAGONAL HIGH HEART GRID
To maintain a state of harmonic balance between the inner male and female, create this Double Hexagonal High Heart Grid. The hexagon is a naturally forming geometric shape with six sides of equal lengths. Many crystals, such as quartz, form in the hexagonal shape which is multidimensional and inclusive of both yin and yang aspects. The hexagon, made by interlocking two equilateral triangles, representing “as above, so below,” and symbolizes the endless complementary interaction of dual forces.
Create this grid on your altar or use it in a crystal healing layout at the High Heart. You will need six tumbled sunstones, six tumbled rainbow moonstones and one piece of whichever High Heart stone you choose to use. Start with the moonstones. When building the Double Hexagonal High Heart Grid, you will first make an equilateral triangle with the apex pointing towards the heavens. This is the male aspect that rises from the base and points upward. Now, place three moonstones in an equilateral triangle but with the apex facing down. This is the female aspect.
This triangle is built into the first, creating a hexagon.
Next place the sunstones on the outside of the moonstone hexagon, in between each moonstone.
This will form another outer hexagon, making twelve points in all (six inner and six outer).
The male sunstone surrounds the female moonstone, yet each grid is perfectly balanced male and female.
This grid is self-perpetuating and can continue to be built outward as well as inward into infinity.
Place whatever High Heart stone you want to use on the inside space surrounding the moonstones. For example, vanadinite, a red-orange stone (shown below), will emphasize activation of the High Heart Male. Use this stone if you want to be physically active, assertive and creative. On the other hand, if you need to calm down, meditate, relieve stress or just relax, the inner space could also hold a High Heart Female stone such as soft blue celestite. Once this grid is built on an altar, you can replace the inner stone as needed.
